Fused glass 'Fancy a cuppa?' Brooch

'Fancy a cuppa?' brooch is a little celebration of the everyday ritual of drinking tea, which is an important pastime here in Ireland! It was created by fusing the white glass of the cup to a base of clear iridescent glass. The iridescence gives the base glass a pink and yellow hue. The word 'tea' was handprinted onto the cup in black enamel before firing. Finished with a 3cm metal brooch back.
