Tea or Tae, as it is called in Irish, (pronounced tay), is a staple beverage in many Irish households.
This fused glass cupán tae is made to last longer than a regular cup of tea, and to inspire comforting thoughts of happy tea-sipping memories. It is composed of white opal glass, amber glass and a green glass printed 'TAE' label. The pieces of glass are kiln-fired to a very high temperature and, as a result, fuse together.
