Fused glass Winged Heart, dreams

This fused glass Winged Heart is a symbol of freedom and love. The heart is the universal symbol for love, while the wings symbolise the boundless freedom that love offers. The Winged Heart includes hand-painted and screen-printed elements. The wings are carefully hand-painted on opal white glass, while the word 'dreams' is screen-printed on clear glass that is, in turn, fused with the heart. All of the glass components are cut, ground, and fused together at a very high temperature in the kiln to create this unique glass light-catcher.

A hole is drilled in the finished piece, and a black organza ribbon is added for hanging.
