The Irish word for coffee is caife (pronounced kaf-ay). I call this glass cup of coffee or cupán caife, an Irish coffee, as it is made in Ireland and printed in Irish! It is composed of white opal glass, brown opal glass, that is hand-painted with a one-off heart pattern, and a green glass printed 'caife' label. All of these components are fused to a very high temperature in the kiln to create this unique fused glass cupán caife. It is finished with a white organza ribbon for hanging.
Fused for your pleasure. Hang in a window and enjoy!
Suction cup included.
Made with love and humour in my home studio in rural Co. Sligo.
Glass measures 10 x 9cm.
Postage and packaging within Ireland costs €4.95
